WHICH SHOPPING CART SYSTEM? Choosing which shopping cart system is right for your business can make the difference between success or failure. Making sensible, informed choices and ensuring that they are professionally implemented will enable your business to go to the next level in efficiency and increase potential for significant sales growth. My web business alone is now forecast to achieve
over €1,000,000 in sales this year.
Online sales continue to rise every month and I
am now for the third time needing to move to a larger premises so that
we can cope with fulfilling all of the orders! Simon‘s creativity, business knowledge and extensive experience has been integral to me achieving my vision of becoming the UK‘s leading natural skin care business.Kolbjørn

Costs for implementing a third party shopping cart system can range from a few hundred to tens of thousands of euros. Depending upon your business you may find an "out of the box" solution to be be adequate for your current needs. However, most SME clients wish to integrate their business processes i.e. back-office, accounting, stock control and e-commerce. Unfortunately this next generation of sophisticated e-commerce systems is not yet affordable for most small businesses and are extremely expensive to maintain. My approach is to source an e-commerce solution for you that is affordable now, and has a life-span of at least three years. In all but the simplest of business models I recommend choosing a third-party system that allows extensive adaptation and optimisation, whether it is open source (e.g. ZenCart) or where the unencrypted source code can be adapted (e.g. XCart).
